DJ Trickles (Krissy Sims)
Second place winner of the Miami WMC DJ Spin Off 2007 and has been a DJ from the age of sixteen and has worked hard to get residencies and sets in some of the biggest places. She ran a recording studio Liberty Hall for over three years and has specialised in teaching all courses and over 100 DJ's of all ages.Krissy has been playing on the radio and in clubs since she was just 18 yrs old and promoted her own 'Battle of the DJ's' events, including the massive Soundin' Krisp at Eros nightclub, with Nicky Blackmarket, DJ EZ and BK as the celebrity judges. She has also hosted numerous events at smaller venues in North London, including the Avenue in Barnet and Middlesex Univerisity at Trent Park.
She loves teaching young people and adults to get to grips with the whole scene in general. Some of the events Trickles has played at includes Ministry of Sound, Notting Hill Carnival, Mass, Fridge, Bar Rumba.
After running Liberty Hall she decided to sell up to make The British DJ & MC Academy possible with Lady MC and its been going from strength to strength.
What makes her tick, is being in front of a big crowd, enjoying what she does best "I would say I'm a crazy DJ; don't like smooth mixing - it has to be a bit chopped! I have always had a deep passion for mixing drum n bass; everything from real old skool jungle to more of the heavy ram, bad company stuff. I started off mixing garage but not for long! I soon got bored and went onto the heavier stuff; there's nothing better that a fat bass line."
